A launch isn't a project. It's a shot. You have a window, a date, an opportunity for millions of people to see something for the first time and remember it forever. There's no second impression. There's no "we'll fix it tomorrow."«
When IRYO arrived in Spain to revolutionize the high-speed rail market —the first to break the sector's historical monopoly— they needed their digital presence to live up to what they represented: speed, design, Italian modernity applied to Spanish infrastructure.
They called us. And we said yes.
The mission was clear in concept and demanding in execution: to orchestrate IRYO's presence in Spain's main digital media outlets on its launch day. This involved two parallel fronts that had to function as one.
First, the campaigns. Programming and coordination of advertising pieces in the country's major digital newspapers. It wasn't just about "uploading a banner." It was about synchronizing formats, activation times, frequencies, and premium placements so that IRYO's message appeared at the exact moment, in the exact place, to the exact reader. A technical choreography invisible to the user, but crucial for impact.
Second, the animations. Design and programming of the animated pieces that would accompany the campaign. Generic solutions simply wouldn't do. IRYO has a very defined visual identity: that vibrant red, those lines of movement that evoke speed without being jarring, that design sensibility that blends Italian and Iberian influences. The animations had to be true to that identity and, at the same time, work across the different technical environments of each digital publication.
Each animated piece was built from scratch. We started with IRYO's brand identity and translated it into interactive digital formats: fluid transitions, animation timing calibrated to capture attention without being intrusive, and a visual narrative that conveyed the essence in just a few seconds — a new, modern, fast train that was coming to change something.
The technical work was just as important as the creative. The animations had to render correctly on the different players and environments of each medium. What works perfectly in one newspaper can break in another if it's not well-built. We made sure there were no surprises on launch day.
Programming and coordination of the digital press campaign
The campaign rollout required meticulous planning. Each medium has its own technical specifications, publication windows, supported formats, and validation times. We managed the entire process: adapting materials for each environment, controlling activation, providing real-time monitoring during the critical first hours, and addressing any issues before they became problems.
The goal wasn't just for the campaign to appear. It was for it to appear well, across all media, simultaneously, without any gaps.
On the day of IRYO's launch in Spain, millions of digital readers encountered a coordinated, visually striking and technically flawless campaign in the country's leading newspapers.
That doesn't happen by chance. It happens because someone spent weeks working quietly to make the moment exactly like that.
IRYO arrived in Spain with the fanfare it deserved. We contributed to that fanfare.
At The Cloud Group, we're more than just systems engineering. We're the team you call when a project has a fixed deadline, when failure isn't an option, and when you need the technical aspects completely resolved so the client can focus on their core business.
IRYO had to think about trains, routes, passengers, a logistical revolution.
The technology for their digital presence at launch was our responsibility.
And the train left on time.
